The whole movie was stolen by him, meanwhile Batman was off somewhere being moody and dealing with an internal conflict that was never really focussed on. But why would you want to know what Batman’s thinking when you can just get a big ol’ shot of the Joker talking about how he was abused and rather than dealing with it went psycho. Nice. So cliche, but nice. Cliche by diegetic characterisation I mean.

Morgan Freeman played a great role, the quality of such acting only comes from people like Mr Freeman - He played a brilliant role in ‘The Bucket List’ and ‘Seven’, and last but by no means least ‘The Shawshank Redemption’ - One of my top ten films’(T.SS.R).

I would have to agree - Morgan Freeman is by far the better choice. Though not forgetting Micheal Caine as Alfred.
