I plugged my Hard drive and thumb drive to my friend PC. All of sudden, all storage device via USB plugged to her PC are not working anymore and need to be re-formatted. I realized that her PC is full of virus that creating bad sector in my hard drive.

if you are working with PC,
open my computer>right click>properties>hardware>device manager

Check both Human Interface Device and USB controller. Find an icon with exclamation mark uninstall it then try to re-plug your device.
