the beatles didnt write catchy pop songs they sang songs that may not make sense on the surface but after you analyze them they reflect the economy and the issues they were facing during the time the songs were written. Its not just songs they’re lead ways into history it shows a point of view which usually would just be glossed over.

And I am learning a slightly different version, played lower on the neck and a slower, not so many hammer ons and stuff. He composed like 5 different versions of this.

another great soloist who isnt a guitar solist, but Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull is really good its not an as well known band, but still amazing. One of the songs the band did was taking a classical peice and turning it into a rock peice with the flute it sounds stupid, but its actually very good.

Heard of supertramp, and I praised Led Zep as the greatest band ever. The Eagles, oh wow, number one selling album of all time. Amazing band, tequilla sunrise, the girl from yesterday. Hotel California and Desperado. All amazing.

But you can’t forget Kansas, carry on my wayward son. Anyone? Or how about Journey, wheel in the sky? Don’t stop believin’? How about boston with Smokin and more than a feeling? I could name bands all night. I love classic rock.

Also their songs have alot of hidden meaning which if you juz listen to the songs it will sound as if they’re high, but it has to do with the things that went on in their time period and issues that teens dealt with. some of their songs dont have any meaning sorta like todays songs. but try listening to piggies(i think thats the song i could be wrong) its about the government at their time. they gave us an insight to our countries history.
