Reply from *frufru* /post/204822-alright#reply-4321473
for the past 2 months now i have been getting these pop-ups constantly over and over again everytime i log on to the internet. pop-ups are saying “Yahoo! Update Manager” “The Yahoo! update server cannot be accessed at this time.” what do i do to get rid of this
Try uninstalling yahoo-messenger (Control panel / programs) and (if you use it) get the actual version from yahoo-homepage and install the new version. You will need your yahoo-userid & password …
Know how to get rid of pop up messages by some place called NetBios-Local?? I get one everytime i get on the internet, and my internet does not connect till i get this message. I use internet explorer and have norton antivirus that keeps blocking it.
try to clean your pc with the following programs:

Spybot Search & Destroy http://www.safer-networking.org/en/do…

Lavasoft Adware http://www.lavasoft.com/single/trialp…

Both programs are free.
Both programs habe a scan-function - delete everything what’s found.
