I know what it’s like to swim upstream against the system. Today is my first day on help.com. Too bad it couldn’t have been sooner. But I did want to let you know about a great website wishuponahero.com. It’s an online community of people from all over who submit ‘wishes’ of all kind, from gift certificates to clothes or toys for their kids to just about anything else you could think of. It’s very heartwarming to see the kind of help people will give.
I have so much respect for you to have freed yourself of an abusive relationship. It’s a very hard thing to do. I’ve been there and the road afterward can be really rocky but I never would have gone back. Keep your head high. You’ll make it.
