there’s still room for more nominations if people want, but I just need to get an idea of who from that list people would most like to congratulate so that they cane be entered into the polls. We’re not cutting them just yet, just getting an idea of who to cut off, as harsh as that sounds. Everybody will get their chance though. Although I’m kind of getting the feeling this is going to lead to way too many nominees anyway…

Voting for yourself can often lead to having thousands of people with just one vote… If you are a good helper and want to win the contest, you should have plenty of votes anyway. I think it just makes it a little more balanced if you can’t vote for yourself though…
It’s not my post though, these are simply opinions.

Well, as the term “best” is subjective, I don’t think it would be fair to exclude anyone. I mean, voting for yourself is kinda tactless, but I don’t think it should be grounds for being removed from the “contest”.

Another reason I dislike this site. Like I’ve said in previous posts such as these, everyone here gives great input at one point or another. To me, the point of this website isn’t “who gives the best advice” but how many people can walk away with that advice and use it to help themselves.
Of course, it’s good to recognize some that are exceptional at giving advice because then people can become aware of whom they can ask for help, but really it’s even better to recognize EVERYONE’s efforts and willigness to put themselves out there on this website.

Oh, as anyone will tell you here that knows me well MsE…Cotton has never been one to kiss up..loll..tell is like it is…and that has gotten me in trouble with a couple of mods. That is why I’m no longer Qzzzz…You can go to search and enter Qzzzz … Some people don’t want to hear the truth…being out-spoken has caused me problems…in my old age, have tempered my opinion, as actually, they are not very important. Learned that the hard way… We old coaches have problems not saying what we think…loll..sure, you remember your coaches…

Mas is an excellent mod…think I’ve said that before…loll..got the best mods we ever had since C.M., Erik, and Jeff…most of you don’t remember them…they were good also. They would communicate with us in a positive way. They could correct you and make you like it…it was not adversarial relationship at all. They were one of us, but they were not one of us…if that makes sense! Like the mods we have now, they could correct you, and leave you with your dignity.

-Angel, all around great girl, tried to help everyone and when she cant, she is the one who suffers. Such selflessness and dedication is amazing to see. It is an all too rare trait.

-Mas1st, saves us from the nasties of the site, incredibly wise and just.

-Cassie, very similar to angel, but at the same time very different. Creation of poetry is amazing.

-Amon, I dont know you too well, but you seem incredibly smart and wise. I’d like to get to know you better, because you seem to be a great person and I would like to help you and understand you.

-Chickens, the illusive user, most are not quite sure of age or gender, but still a great person with great wit and mind beyond what those around s/him can understand. Although this is great to see in one of s/his apparent age, it makes s/him feel isolated. I probably understand you Chickens :D Always bringing a smile to my face

I might have to discuss whether helpbot is a worthy candidate. The competition is for this month only and Helpbot is probably the all time BEST help.com member. Mas1st too.
