That was a long time ago, when I didn’t have kids and other reasons to live. I understand how much it sucks to walk around feeling empty and apathetic.

All I can tell you is that life is too short to let circumstances just carry you along like the tide. If life sucks now, and you’re afraid of the alternative, then make choices that will change the course of your life. Whatever direction you choose, and however strong the currents that pull at you, at least you won’t be carried like so much flotsam.

All the talking in the world on here won’t help if you don’t move forward. Don’t let others.. their affection or lack of it.. rule your life. If you want to live better, make a decision, fix your eyes on a distant goal and move toward it.
