Realize that 99.9999 percent of all high school romances end within a year of graduation. You can probably imagine the reasons. So don’t take these guys or yourself too seriously . . . you’re still swimming in the little pond and after graduation you’ll be thrown into a vast ocean. So, put things in perspective and chill out.

My 18-year-old daughter has finally realized that she doesn’t have to have a boyfriend right now. She worried and fretted about them for quite a while. She has finally come to the conclusion that it will be in college where she’ll most likely meet her future husband. Now she has peace of mind, and plenty of guys who want to date her now that she acts like she doesn’t care! ;-)
