Reply from bfnf /post/222769-im-addicted-to-shopping-onli#reply-4583943 I understand what you mean, I’ve been horrible this holiday season on buying a lot of bran things, which I don’t really need, but I don’t shop much so I felt like treating myself. I just bought my last item tonight off the internet, and now I am done, because I’m going to college and need this money I have saved back for a nest egg. The economy is so bad right now, and although clothes would be awesome to stay in style I guess I would rather have the clothes I have and spice myself up that way then look good for the present and be broke in the future.

Reply from Anonymous /post/222769-im-addicted-to-shopping-onli#reply-4549449 Self control. Whenever I start eating a lot, I remind myself that I don’t really need to eat because I am already satisfied and the fact that eating is enjoyable doesn’t mean I can do it whenever. It also helps me to think that I am a glutton when I eat too much.
Use the same concept for your shopping problem. You really don’t need it. It will also save you money (especially on shipping).
I i>rarely /i> ever buy anything online because it is so unnecessary. Just don’t bloody do it.

Reply from Neutra /post/222769-im-addicted-to-shopping-onli#reply-4549411 The economy is rough but not that rough. If you have the money to get something then you should get it. Life is too short to be saving alot of money for that “rainy day” saying. Enjoy it as much as possible, especially right now, go treat yourself, just remember to do it wisely is all.

Reply from Time Traveller /post/222769-im-addicted-to-shopping-onli#reply-4549409 It’s okay to treat yourself, but you may want to plan out what you want to do next. Don’t feel guilty, it is your money, and you earned it.

Reply from Anonymous /post/222769-im-addicted-to-shopping-onli#reply-4549406 I’m young so I’m still in that phase “I can get whatever I want if I have the money” but the truth is that I should really be saving my money for my car insurance, gas, tuition, my own place. I just don’t take the time to think of what I’ll need later on. I just want new clothes because I haven’t treated myself for a while.
