[Help] I do not have a basic version of safari. Updates to this post /post/222881-i-do-not-have-a-basic-version-of-sa Mon, 07 Dec 2009 06:49:44 +0100 Reply from jstanleywhit /post/222881-i-do-not-have-a-basic-version-of-sa#reply-4556703 Thanks for your response. Let me explain further. I was having problems with the safari installed on my Mac. When I saw there was a NEW safari, 3.2.1, I trashed my existing safari — which I now realize was a mistake. Then when I got to the apple site, I saw it was AN UPDATE! When I downloaded it and it was supposed to install on my “hard drive” nothing appeared anywhere on the computer. I tried a second DL –same outcome.

I then tried numerous sites trying to find a full version (not an update) of safari which I could then upgrade to 3.2.1. No success.

Safari was my principal browser and I am at a loss of how to get it reinstalled so I could then upgrade it to 3.2.1.

I would sincerely appreciate any help you could give –really!

Stan
