I think it will be a good Christmas this year, despite all the news.

It will be the year when people start to think about whether they are over-spending on the commercialism of Christmas… when families might actually try some good-old-fashioned games instead of relying on the latest electronic ones… when things go “home-made” as budgets get tighter… people start giving offers of help with the garden instead of a new garden gadget… parties become more communal as people share the cooking costs…

And a year when “let’s all be silly and laugh through our troubles” becomes the trend.

I hope so anyway!

I think positive will come out of all the negative around us right now!
This doesnt quite work for me lol I’ve spent the most this xmas that I have before…or have I? I spent £72 on my bf last year lol dumb like but he spent alot on me. He got me a locket which I rarly take off.I i’ve bought presents for everyone. I like to lol

May i just say how hilarious it was last year!! We had 2 really big bags for presents last year. when my boyfriend was on his way over. I got inside and the other one was put over the top. And I was celetaped all the way round. It was soo funny. He came in and my mam told him I’d poped up my grandmas for a lil bit and wouldn’t be long. And they told him to open his present(me!) n he was like, no I’ll wait for her to come back. Here I was, trying not to burst out laughing. holding my nose, mouth shut, could harldy breath-face bright red. He was sitting on the chair next to me.Me “whispering” to my sis, bangin n shakin the bag n stuff. He didnt even notice. He’s so docile bless him. when he went to open me he was using a knife, that was sharp taken off him!! lol we ended up crying laughing ;’D He’s such a boy! lol

Reply from thep /post/224209-#reply-4571658 Yes, you have found the possative in it, you have another one next year and another load of them after that. Christmas day itself is a rest day. So all is not lost.

After this one and after all your work, it will have been a fantastic one, you will be happy at all of the hard work you had to do. When you see the results at the end of it all.
Trust me with this, try hard to enjoy the things you are finding difficult. You know that you CAN do well.

Why is yours going to suck this year? Unless you dont want to tell us why.
Of course I’ll say why!
I am tired. I’m so very very tired. I have january modules for my AS levels and I am struggling in Physics. I dislike the subjects that I chose and should have listened to my heart when I chose! All my fault that one. To get anywhere near where I’m aiming for and where everybody thinks I’ll get (from my reputation) I’m going to have to work solidly except of course Christmas day. I just can’t envisage seeing me having much fun :/
But I’m going skiing in february, so I’ll have fun then… christmas only comes round once a year though.

I do wish everybody a Happy Merry Joyous Christmas :)

Dont forget to have all those presents ready before four in the morning, on the day. They always but always, get up on Christmas morning, just as you fall asleep.

Reply from thep /post/224209-#reply-4570940 I have just been out and bought a tube of super glue, to stick the two holes together.
The supper glue I bought up above, doesn’t work to well. So I have eaten it for supper.

Reply from thep /post/224209-#reply-4570915 Yes, if it’s not to late. Ask Santa Claus for a cork for that dog as well as the one for your hubby.
I have noticed, or it is said. That women never fart, but they may on occasion flatulate.

Reply from thep /post/224209-#reply-4570879 OH, right. You can still borrow my big hole, if you want to. Climb out of the one you have dug for youself. Give it to your relatives to stay in over Christmas. As soon as the are stuck in the hole, throw my one on top. They will have one real holey Christmas. I have been and bought a tube of supper glue. Says on it, sticks anything to anything.
Dont know what happened to the chocolate firegaurd, it seems to not be there any more, since that roaring fire I had burning yesterday. I have noticed that dog of yours has been around though. It must have a bad tummy again. There is a big sticky brown mess all around fireplace.

Reply from Left /post/224209-#reply-4570396 thep I thank you very much for the offer, I dug myself into a big hole already. Yours will simply put a roof on it for me. Hey I wonder if a double hole can be turned into a Zorb if so I will meet you at the top of the hill with some sky hooks to stick them together. Hows that chocolate fire guard I sent you.

Reply from thep /post/224209-#reply-4570293 Well, as it’s Christmas. I have dug a massive hole in the big back garden. I will lend you that to keep the in laws in over the festive season.
Why the big hole, you ask? Well, it’s for another bigger fish pond. I could send it to you, (minus the water, it will be far to heavy for me to lift with the water in it).
I will be sending it by road haulage company, just keep looking out for a big transporter, carrying a very big hole.
I will have to have it back after Christmas, as I dont feel up to digging it all out again, to replace the hole I am sending you.

Reply from Left /post/224209-#reply-4570166 I asked Santa for:
A cork to stop my hubbies brussel sprout farts.
One of his reindeer to eat with the brussels. (slightly skint)
Enough snow to make an igloo. (cheaper than a shed)
A shed (the in-laws are coming) preferably padded.
A bucket full of wine.
And a winning lottery ticket
I have been very good all year…Honest..

Not because of presents, but just the magical feeling of the day. If I could I would conduct the whole day with the curtains closed. With only fairy lights and candles for light. We always dress up in our finest to sit down to our meal. I make any guest do the same. Its my tradition.
I bet you look good dressed up thep.

Never been to China myself, sounds like great fun though. You want to get those cousins to stand in the middle of the road. That green and red, both at the same time, will confuse the heck out of those drivers.

What no presents! gosh girl cant have that. I am getting a few new spots for my fur coat, a few fell off, when I chased after that roebuck.
I will share them with you. Dont really know how you feel about being offered some spots for Christmas. It’s an offer you should really think hard about. It is most likely the only offer of this type you will ever get.
