Reply from Michael Leibman /post/225330-how-should-i-cut-my-hair#reply-4687511 (the laughter is not meant to indicate that I donh’t think fashion and style are important factors in life, rather that my even being subscribed to this post is kind of weird given my lack of fashion-advice to contribute. But someone has to try to help, right?)

Reply from Not Me /post/225330-how-should-i-cut-my-hair#reply-4687406 Oh yes actually :-P I have one of my very favorite haircuts I’ve ever had right now. It is pretty much an inverted bob. (Thanks A.n.y.) It is the first one I think I’ll keep. I have a couple changes I want to make as it grows out. But it is very “me” very easy to do, and very flattering. (Problem in the past “flattering” usually meant “not me”… and “me” meant “hard to do”)

Reply from Michael Leibman /post/225330-how-should-i-cut-my-hair#reply-4682191 Do you think that asking for advice with this helped you with your hair-style issue. (It’s been a month, probably enough time to notice.)

Reply from Not Me /post/225330-how-should-i-cut-my-hair#reply-4576089 In my pictures- that is an idea. I’ve heard lots of people say to bring in what you want. I should bring in what I’ve done. ha ha. I want a change but I don’t want to mess up the ease of my hair right now.

Reply from Anonymous /post/225330-how-should-i-cut-my-hair#reply-4576053 You can book an appointment with your hairdresser just as a consult do decide how to cut your hair. bring in your hair pics and discuss it with him/her. i have done this before and my hair turn out great.

Reply from Michael Leibman /post/225330-how-should-i-cut-my-hair#reply-4576052 I see an ad on my screen for www.elle.com — and actually, that seems like a worthwhile idea, browse through fashion and style sites or magazines to get inspiration. It’s like there’s a whole industry dedicated to making sure women know how to get their hair how they want it.

Reply from bkny /post/225330-how-should-i-cut-my-hair#reply-4576029 2-3 inches past shoulder length seems pretty good. That way you can pull it back or up in a bun.

Reply from Not Me /post/225330-how-should-i-cut-my-hair#reply-4576021 I was thinking that. How long do you suggest? I like it best down to about 3 or 4 inches past my shoulder- but slightly longer sounds about shoulder length

Reply from bkny /post/225330-how-should-i-cut-my-hair#reply-4576010 Let it grow slightly longer and have the hair off to the side of your forehead. I’m no stylist so I wouldn’t know which specific “cut” fits those needs. Something similar to the second one.
