Reply from esp1onag /post/251367-i-have-just-installed-windows-xp-wi#reply-4833808 you will need to do a complete reinstall, so, it means format etc, you’d need to back everything up and it will take hours. There are ways of changing your code directly from within windows and the registry. You can probably find that on mydigitallife as well but obviously its an exploit like the wga-hack, so its not supported by microsoft, and i’m not sure it would even remove the genuine advantage notifications now they’ve already begun.

My advice : go to mydigitallife, read through the wga solutions, try out some of them, to the best of my knowledge, they definitely work.

Reply from esp1onag /post/251367-i-have-just-installed-windows-xp-wi#reply-4833800 then you haven’t followed the instructions correctly, or you’ve followed the wrong instructions. I did say read carefully first, because there are various solutions which have varying degrees of success depending on your version of windows, and your version of the wga tray.

Reply from esp1onag /post/251367-i-have-just-installed-windows-xp-wi#reply-4833789 I have used mydigitallife to bypass WGA in the past and it works fine. There are different methods of doing it so make sure you have a good read first. Once you’ve done it just make sure you don’t install the WGA tool in the windows updates. It means doing custom installs once windows has updates for you, and removing wga from the list.
