People are so cruel. I was divorced when I was pregnant after fifteen years of marriage. It took a long time to get over the fact that I had been abandoned at what should have been the happiest time of my life. He was having an affair with my best friend. He told me I would never survive without him, but I did. You can to. Put it all behind you, don’t be bitter and be hopeful that there’s a better way out there for you. My mother died a couple of months ago and she always told me that it was easier on the heart and soul to forgive rather than carry all of that hurt around with you. She was right. I forgave my husband along time ago and moved on. What has been difficult for me is the abandonment that his son has felt all of his life from his dad. But he has to work that all out in his own way. Pick yourself up, shake it off and look forward to what life has to offer. I believe there is a better way. Thank you for your response to me.

I haven’t asked my son to leave because his doctor is concerned about his mentional stability and the possibility that he might try to hurt himself…this is why I’m so scared.
