[Help] I left home to go to college in another part of the Updates to this post /post/256297-i-left-home-to-go-to-college-in-ano Tue, 24 Nov 2009 22:04:54 +0100 Reply from monme121 /post/256297-i-left-home-to-go-to-college-in-ano#reply-4875444 dear the person who went to study … to another country….. i can feel how desperate you feel…. and i do understand how hard it is to think no one really cares about you when no one picks up your phone calls…. you parents got divorce many go through divorces your grades are falling….. thats not goood… i can only say this…. if you feel down just because of allt he problems you metioned… let me tell you this you should be grateful …. that you still have your health…. you still go to college and you still have yoru parents even if they are divorced….. you are my dearest not the only one with problems…. and yes i do understand it is not easy … it is not easy … but … you must understand…..this …

if your frends dont understand you then they are not worth being freinds….
If your parents have got a divorce its ok casue they still love you and they still wanna see you the best….
If your grades are down…. start working hards and study…. cuase that is the only ….. winning ticket a life can offer…. and above all this be appreciative for the things you have and not sorry about the things you have lost…..

i hope this helps…

You take care now

if things arent going just how you would like then u have to let them go. just remember that THINGS HAPPEN FOR A REASON. try to look into yourself and discover the things that make you happpy. exericise and outdoorsie stuff always put you in a better mode, even vitamins work. just try smiling sometimes when u feel sad. go to some place where other happy people are. you really just need to tap into yourself and what makes you happy and what makes you, you. once you are comfortable with the beautiful amazing person you are then good things will come to you =)

Reply from ameliaearthlin /post/256297-i-left-home-to-go-to-college-in-ano#reply-4875375 I agree with coops200. Also a book called The Secret is good. Things will get so much better. Depressed people don’t attract friends as easily. Do activities that make you happy and stay positive. Hang in there.

Reply from coops200 /post/256297-i-left-home-to-go-to-college-in-ano#reply-4875317 Hi ya
Every now and then a few crap things seem to get together and leave you asking questions like “Why is all this happening to me?”
It is a matter of time. Everything changes. Before you know it you have worked through your uni stuff and completed a course even though it may not be the one you started (perhaps it really wasn’t you anyway. Perhaps it was too much about looking good to others rather than matching your true loving self), your parents will move on and bring new interesting people into your life, you’ll meet the sweetest partner.
Right now though, what do you do that makes you feel good that is good for you? Having a good conversation with someone in particular, doing a bit of sport to wash out those depressing hormones, making time lines for the problems you can fix such as your studies - letting go of the things you can’t change.
If you don’t want to speak to a councellor etc, try a new age book (yes a lot of them are so cheesy!). Eckhart Tolle is a great author. His book with a cheesy title is The Power Within. The contents are way better than the title.
