I know there’s no real point as I can barely tell the difference between 128 and 320, this was just more of a “to know” kind of thing.

Reply from spiratec9 /post/257914-#reply-4888978 note cd quality is
So at the red book standard for CDs, the sample rate is 44.1 kHz or 44,100 slices every second. So what is the 96khz sample rate? You guessed it. It’s 96,000 slices of audio sampled each second.

Reply from spiratec9 /post/257914-#reply-4888975 Oh sorry I misread you question I thought it was a missprint of 320kb
as 320megB
You mean the audio quality bitrate?
Anything above 320kb per second would be undectectable.
The original data would not even be that good. When recorded.

No limit to size.
Your program may be limiting the size but should not be a limit.[/quote]

I use windows media player. I really don’t NEED above 320 but I wanted to hear what the highest I could get is. Any programs you know of that let me go beyond that? I want a really “liquid” and vibrant sound. Any music you know of that has that affect would be cool to hear about too. Anyway, good night.
