Nano, I just did this yesterday, washer AND the dryer. It has not survived, but, I’ve put it in a bag of rice to “see” if the urban legend bears fruit.

Reply from bsscree /post/259025-i-put-my-ipod-through-the-washer-an#reply-4964465 rice does work you have to let it set for a few days. the rice will absorb the moisture.

Reply from katlover1 /post/259025-i-put-my-ipod-through-the-washer-an#reply-4899134 looks like you’ve learned a valuable lesson the hard way. by the way…. i think the rice probably did more harm than good…

I was minding my own business, just me and my 3month old 8gb sony walkman. It dropped beside my car one night without me noticing. I spent the entire next day calling for it…

… It never answered.

I found it eventually… dead. Driven on. Cold. Totally non-responsive.

It was christmas day 2 weeks later, my parents thought it’d be funny if they bought me accessories for my walkman. It wasn’t funny. Not, At, All…

Sorry guys, I’m bored….[/quote]

lol

Soak up all the moisture… Duh… Ingenious move…

I joke… hugely!

Rice wouldn’t of worked! maybe if you stir fry it……….

Em, The only thing you can do is send it away and hope for the best.. don’t mention the washer or drier! they’ll just say “uuuh, water damage” and not fix it..

After all of that, I don’t think it can be fixed.
