Your emotional highs and lows could be affected by anything… Seasonal Affective Disorder, diet, any medications you may be taking (Including antidepressants! No kidding!) Take all things into consideration. As well, if you feel uncomfortable speaking with your counsellor about your problems (and if they haven’t already noticed that you are in emotional crisis!) then they are clearly not providing you the care you need. You should perhaps consider seeing someone else, if possible, a clinical psychiatrist. Anyway, I hope you find the help you need!
