final result[/quote]

o great : ) that is WAYY easier to understand.. : )

I don’t understand a single word, but it sure does look impressive. LOL. Luck, thanks for the invite, but this is soooo far out of my league. All I can offer: Good Luck!

Reply from fractal.scatter /post/268096-date-1-april-2009#reply-4960144 Here’s a question for you. What does the area inside of the closed loop represent?

Reply from bluflames83 /post/268096-date-1-april-2009#reply-4960072 yeah, I’d have to say you would start with something related to making an electromagnet with wire around a ferromagnetic core, not hysteresis, for a good explanation of electromagnetism, but I don’t know… I really like electromagnetism, but I’ve never heard of hysteresis….and I don’t really understand it, admittedly I skipped the equation parts because I don’t like reading equations and formulas… : )

Reply from Luck of the Irish /post/268096-date-1-april-2009#reply-4959764 lol I am just going to give the original 8 and the current 4 and explain what each symbol means, that is a basic as I am doing it i.e. I stands for current etc.

Reply from fractal.scatter /post/268096-date-1-april-2009#reply-4959752 Well I’d aim for a basic level with maxwells equations cause the last thing you’ll need for an essay is to explain the curl, divergence and gradient of differential vector fields :P

Reply from Luck of the Irish /post/268096-date-1-april-2009#reply-4959747 It is for an essay explaining the theory behind electromagnetism, and the better your essay, the more marks you get so I am aiming for top marks, and I heard from a good friend (not that you aren’t a good friend) that it was a big concept towards electromagnetism so I said what they hey I might as well write about it, flabbergast my lecturer lol but in all honesty it gives me a chance to learn something new also.

Reply from fractal.scatter /post/268096-date-1-april-2009#reply-4959736 Yeah okay I guess that would make it more based about electromagnetism. What’s it for anyway, cause Maxwells equations are not usually introduced academically until the second year of a physics degree.

Reply from Luck of the Irish /post/268096-date-1-april-2009#reply-4959728 OK btw when I have finished I will be adding in Maxwell’s Equations, and what the number of turns do and what happens after the thing goes over 1.6Tesla’s

Reply from fractal.scatter /post/268096-date-1-april-2009#reply-4959722 It’s not a good introduction to electromagnetism as a subject, but it is pretty good as an introduction to magnetic induction.
