This is pretty late but it was when I felt emotionally ready to handle it. That is when you should have sex. When you feel like you are capable of talking about it, enjoying it and won’t regret it later. For a lot of women that maybe in their teens but I have a lot of trouble believing that if you have sex when you are 13 you are ready. At least wait until 16. Make sure you are comfortable using some form of birth control first and you should always make sure that you can talk to the boy about birth control. If you can’t talk to him about it you shouldn’t be having it. Being too embarrassed to talk about sex means you are not ready to have sex yet.
