[Help] Hello, Updates to this post /post/271254-hello Thu, 26 Nov 2009 07:59:47 +0100 Reply from je61 /post/271254-hello#reply-4982100 Sorry, I should have been more specific. Im not exxxactly a student, i am an apprentice in the trades. Essentially I work for 9 months of the year and then I do the subsequent in-school training for 2 months. I will be done the school in 1 month, but do not have my old job to return to. Hmm
Thank you SOOO much for the help :)

Reply from tjwoods /post/271254-hello#reply-4982052 Being a student open up a lot of options. In your previous post about debt you didn’t mention this, and although all of the advice I posted there still applies, you probably have some better options available.

Talk to your school about financial aid options. If you are a student at a college or university, it should be possible to obtain student loans to consolidate your credit card debt. Loans are intended to cover living expenses during school as well as tuition and fees, so there is nothing unusual about doing this. You may be able to defer repayment of your (new and old) student loans until after graduation, which would buy you some more time to get back on your feet.

I think right now the banks are being extra cautious with their money thereby neglecting the people who are actually willing to live up to their responsibilities and make their payments on time. The same thing is happening to me.

Reply from littlenick /post/271254-hello#reply-4979306 If you have a good on time payment history, you should be inundated with offers in the mail. If not, maybe that is why you’re having trouble finding another credit card company that is willing to offer you that.
