Well forget the rock element. They are a Christian band. Christian. Not Jewish. The term rock should have not been your focus.

I thought of this name a few years ago. My youth group was talking about how God is the author of everything, like music, the arts, etc. because he invented them. We talked about how a time was coming when he would reclaim the arts for his own. So i thought of the name “Taking Back Poetry” as a band name.
