Reply from alex_t /post/272874-life-decision#reply-4990383 There are a lot of Aussie barmen in London :p

More sunshine in Australia

I’m living at home as well know how you feel and won’t be moving out for at least 3-4 years can save much easier, going to start buying houses when I can and not moving out until house #3, or possibly and ideally in with a girl living quite a long way away… well that’s the plan.

I know someone in recruitment as well and lots of vacancies are only for if you have good experience because there are so many candidates at the moment, think you’d still probably find something like barwork fairly easily though but there’s no telling.

Where in Europe would you go and why you want to visit?

i really appreciate yr advice, i think sometimes you can’t simply just go with the safe option

Reply from vishal_lakhan /post/272874-life-decision#reply-4990320 Theres a recession at the moment - I am a recruitment consultant in UK and I know many Aussies who are struglling to find work here. In fact I struggled to find work when I was in Australia on a working holiday a few months ago. My advise stay where you are come to Europe when the economy is doing a bit better!

Reply from Barbyman /post/272874-life-decision#reply-4990305 Girl you got a good Job stick with it .On top of that staying with your Parents you can save a lot more. You don’t miss out on anything you still young .My Son left to go to Europe when he was 24 he bought a house before he left for Europe and we looked after it with renting it. He went all through Europe ,then Africa then India he was gone for over 2 years back packing .He made hundreds of Friends from all over the World .My advise is stay with your Parents and save as much as you can..
