I dont want making lower payments to hurt my credit either. I’ve worked to hard to get it back up after my divorce 6 yrs ago. I have to low of a score to go on Prosper. It’s not desperately low, but to low for them and banks are being so tight with their money. They all want a “secured” loan. LOL If I had “security” I wouldn’t need a loan.

With an inheritance coming you can go to the bank, explain the circumstances and get a little bit of time… if you are already paying out $700 a month then explaining to your creditors that you need to drop that to $500 for a few months will not be a major problem.
