Reply from fcell04 /post/276693-why-is-it-when-on-television-peop#reply-5016296 i guess when you puncture somebodys lung the blood leaks into it and the lung trys to get rid of this fluid which shouldnt be there by causing the person to “cough” it up. In terms of stomach wounds I guess the build up of blood in the stomach causes it to contract causing it to expel its contents basically “throwing up” the blood.
