She’s probably changing for his sake to stay with him for your sake of having shelter and some sort of income to take care of you. My mother put me in that position when I was little too. But the guy I tried being nice put I was too protective of my mother. Try to open up with the new guy and see what your mom see’s in him. It might workout and ask your mom once in a while if she needs help or if you can do something for her and that will make her wonder if she’s doing something right or wrong!
