Life is all about changes so just take this as a lesson in life. Besides, being alone sometimes is a good thing. I usally enjoy being by myself some, it gives me time to think and prioritize things. Find a good book to read, sometimes this will take you away from your problems.
You could write something, draw something, there are lots of things that you can do with this time

As far as your mom goes, you should tell her exactly how you are feeling and treat her as kindly as possible. I’m sure she cares alot about how you feel. I have two children and i certainly care how they feel. This to shall pass!

Reply from Zal93 /post/278322-im-feeling-down-again#reply-5090864 idk if i’m the best person to help you solve this, but i’d say you should try looking on the bright side. i know that’s easier said than done, as i’ve delt with depression quite a few times myself, but have always come out on top. the truth is, things could always be worse. for instance, there could have been some kid in the school always locking you in your locker. i hope there isn’t, cuz then i’d feel bad for just having had said that. whenever you’re feeling really down, just remember, there’s someone out there who’s having it harder than you and able to cope with it, so there must be some way that you can cope with your situation. I wish you the best of luck.

You don’t need to be with company to have fun. I fight with my mum all the time too but recently i tried to ignore her actions and don’t talk back to her or even dehend myself . i just let her talk then leave . i feel better now & she started to give up on me :D

Reply from Darth Pianoman~~~ /post/278322-im-feeling-down-again#reply-5035199 I wouldn’t call it whining at all. You’re obviously just realy stressed, and apparently so is the whole family. If you’ve just gone through a move, then this is all completely normal. I’m sure it doesn’t feel normal at the moment, because its all extremely stressful, but believe me, it’ll pass over time :) for now, just try to feel better. maybe meet some new people, and get out of the house for a while. Just take a good walk and keep in touch with your friends that you had to leave behind.

Feel better polly :)

Reply from Your-Little-Helper /post/278322-im-feeling-down-again#reply-5025772 I dont think you were being whiney at all.
I think that this is gonna be a hard time for you, but stick in there. You never know, you might find great new friends at this school. Not saying you should forget your old ones.. do you keepin contact with them through facebook or myspace or msn? Cause i know its not the same, but its better than nothing.
As for your mum and arguing, most families do go through it. Im guessing she knows your not happy you moved, but i doubt she will have done it to usept you. Try not to argue with her as much, think about all the things she might be thinking too. You never know, she probably doesnt like it either and wants it to stop.
Try talking to her. that normally helps.
If all else fails maybe try speaking to a student counsellor at school?
Good luck
x
