Actually I have now finished my first week at an excellently paying permanent job. I’m not out of the woods but the bread crumb trail is clear.

I’m also QUITE happy to say that I had no assistance from any deities of any kind.

Reply from sbrimag /post/279058-i-am-desperate-to-work-in-the-phila#reply-5104041 check out www.greatjoboption.com,

I looked for work for a year! the consistent no is depressing and discouraging!
But no other person on earth is going to have the last say so in my LIFE!
commit to commit to your own future and keep going no matter how you feel or don’t feel!
YOU provide GOD a vehicle that he can bless you through!
GOD is your maker and creator and He will provide for you!
PS if at all possible seek God’s consultation out of a sound mind
and not out of pity!

Reply from Genesis721 /post/279058-i-am-desperate-to-work-in-the-phila#reply-5030406 “I am afraid that in most cases if I submit my existing resume for any given job people will refuse to hire someone experienced in a field that pays so much more than they can.” Please don’t be afraid of this, this is happening to everyone. Employers liked to get someone really good for less money. So I wouldn’t worry about that.

Have you checked out your States Job/Talent Bank Office? They help people with their resumes and their interviewing techniques. What about checking out Monster.com or CareerTrack.com? They are posting new jobs daily. Consider going into new industries that you haven’t worked for before. Like the hospitals, or the government.

Next, go for food stamps or state aid, you have to have some relief until you find a job. Swallow your pride and keep going. I have been there and through most of want you are going through. You are not in this alone, there are thousands out there going through what you are.

I cried buckets, saw my whole world collapsing and the main thing is “It didn’t”.

Good luck to you.
