They can give you a safe place to go when you’re overwhelmed, they can give you medicine that will help any chemical problems in your brain. Look up the two online, see what the difference is. One talks to you and helps you figure things out, the other gives you medicine based on what the other tells him.

He’s not specialized in the inner workings of the brain. For that, you need a psychiatrist or a psychologist.
