[Help] I can't find a job, should I do volunteer work instead? Updates to this post /post/286082-i-cant-find-a-job-should-i Tue, 08 Dec 2009 03:39:14 +0100 Reply from scary doll /post/286082-i-cant-find-a-job-should-i#reply-5077092 It very much depends on what sort of work you are looking for, but it looks great on a CV and is a better seller than not doing anything at all. Employers love to see voluntary work from any prospective employee; it shows a willingness to work and a great amount of dedication.

Reply from scary doll /post/286082-i-cant-find-a-job-should-i#reply-5077011 Voluntary work is a great way of gaining experience. We recently took someone on who had gained experience in the voluntary sector - so it can be done!
