[Help] I don't know where to start on what may be causing my sudden feeling of sickness. Updates to this post /post/289956-i-dont-know-where-to-start-o Mon, 30 Nov 2009 03:45:23 +0100 Reply from Anonymous /post/289956-i-dont-know-where-to-start-o#reply-5109312 zschopf you are an idiot.
Diabetes is by no means primarily due to poor health, I have a hormonal imbalance that causes insulin resistance and possibly doabetes without medication, and I’m pretty bloody good with diet and exercise, thankyou. There are actually a great number of things that can cause diabetes, and there’s NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING SURE.
I’d suggest not telling people to not get checked out for common illnesses.
And just because there’s an 80% or so tendency of familial history DOES NOT make it a rule.
Similar to SOME but not ALL symptoms can be present in diabetes/insulin resistance issues.
Just because something is unusual doesn’t mean it’s incorrect.
The bottom line for this person is GO TO THE DOCTOR, I suppose.
Research your symptoms somewhere other than a site where people will tell you “If you’re not fat you won’t have diabetes.”

Go to a doctor. Only way to be safe.

Reply from zschopf /post/289956-i-dont-know-where-to-start-o#reply-5103230 Why do people always seem to asume it must be diabeties.. Usually the symptoms of Diabeties is onset with poor health, such as bad diet and unhealthy regimes. And the symptoms are as followed with having head aches constantly, numbing or tingling of the hands or feet, swelling of joints, light headed, blurred vision, faint or weakness, and shortness of breathe. I’ve looked at alot of responses to these help things and they are done poorly by people who assume the near impossible and don’t take into consideration the slight details that they are given. I posted this hoping I’d get a reply as food posioning, a cold, or if you’ve researched into what Q-Links are, the natural bio-sphere of the human body could be easily dissrupted by simple electronics that release electro-magnetic radiation casuing such symptoms if the Q-link is not used properly. On top of that family history plays an outstanding 80% factor in diabeties, and other illness related problems. The only advice I can possibly give myself at the moment without proper diagnosis is to keep constant fluids nothing too much in too little of time, keep calm and relaxed being in a field that usually causes allergens can sometimes be triggered later in the day and cause some bizzare and unusual allergic reaction not usually associated with the runny nose and sneezing you can usually associate with having been near dust or other triggering problems. On a BMI index it can tip the bar on being obese but relating that the weight is from muscle mass and not fat it’s more around 22.50 and not a 24.5 or 25.5. If people are going to give replies I’d assume they would be logical and not randomly answered because they see one symptom of something while the others do not match the illness.. Now if someone would please care to give any real and doctorial explaination on what they might believe the sickness to be and what are some ways I can take to help ease this problem.. Please and thank you.

Reply from strutxtob /post/289956-i-dont-know-where-to-start-o#reply-5103190 I would get tested for diabetes anyway; the symptoms sound very similar and there sometimes is no familial link/ health issue to cause it.
No sense in not checking.
Also, try calling your doctor and seeing if he/she thinks it warrants a blood test.
