Don’t leave him just because they say so!
Do what makes you happy no what makes your parents happy!
Ben my boyfriend who is now my ex we still love each other oh so much we talk everyday
Hoping one day we will see each other someday even if were not together in the future
He is now 20 yrs old and am 17 now
But don’t do what my parents did brake us up!
You love each other stay together!!
Trust!

Reply from linuxya /post/290401-my-parents-are-trying-to-break-my-b#reply-5105943 The point is this: what do you want? What can you do to make it happen? Who will help you and who can you not depend on?

Keep your eyes open. Listen to what people say but filter it through what you understand about their own needs, worries, experiences. Only you can make your decisions.

Reply from dayja /post/290401-my-parents-are-trying-to-break-my-b#reply-5105887 idk how i can do it on my own w/o a car or a license i could get my friends to drive me but idk how that’ll work. My dad thinks that my boyfriend’s mom is trying manipulate everyone so she gets what she wants, now tell me does that make any sense?

Reply from linuxya /post/290401-my-parents-are-trying-to-break-my-b#reply-5105863 You’ll have to forget about getting what you want from your parents and search for a way to do it on your own. You’ll feel more confident and it will prepare you for a more independent and satisfying life.

Reply from linuxya /post/290401-my-parents-are-trying-to-break-my-b#reply-5105781 Relax.

Long distance relationships don’t work. Either find a way to be with him on your own or accept that this doesn’t make any sense. You’re clinging to him even more because you’re facing a big change in your life (college). If you go to college together, then maybe you’ll stick together. Maybe not. Life changes a lot at that age.
