Reply from linuxya /post/290418-i-have-been-having-severe-anxiety#reply-5105849 Drugs cannot solve anxiety. They will TEMPORARILY NUMB anxiety enough to let you CHANGE YOUR BEHAVIOUR. If you do not change your behaviour, the drugs will just be a crutch that never seems to get you all the way.

The more you run away from things, the stronger you make your anxiety. The only solution is to face your fears when you feel them. Do not seek reassurance from people. That is training yourself to always rely on others to make you feel better. That does not help your anxiety.

You must develop your confidence by socializing with others, making decisions, standing on your own.

Insecurity will drive a man away. You can already see how anxiety can ruin your relationship. Drugs will calm you enough to relearn how to face your fears. But drugs will solve nothing on their own.
