thankfully you’re friend is lucky enough to have a friend like you..You care, keep being their support. The love of my life went through some pretty horrific things similar to what you’re describing, I felt powerless to watch as she..well anyway..
just support..don’t judge..be a real friend and if you’re ever worried (which you already sound) tell somebody who can interveine you’re friend may not be happy about it for a while but you’ll of given them a chance which they never thought they had
