I am sorry your Dad is not acting in a way that most ‘Dads’ do But whatever his reasons are be assured they have nothing to do with his love for you.
Even if he is not showing his love right now, I am sure he does love you. Your Mom and his problems effect you for sure. They maybe going through a rough time with the economy problems and other things - and you are feeling it. Not to excuse his actions when they are wrong - and you will know…but as a parent myself, his love for you is there - but as you will realize,when you are older, sometime adults make the wrong decisions….but still love our children. You just need to hold strong to the principals you grew up with during this hard time and know that you are just in the middle of a bad situation..but in time you will find your way out…with the ones you love still there.
