[Help] ok im gonna tell you a story ever since i was three Updates to this post /post/291411-ok-im-gonna-tell-you-a-story-ever-s Tue, 24 Nov 2009 07:24:16 +0100 Reply from vivzofwale /post/291411-ok-im-gonna-tell-you-a-story-ever-s#reply-5113388 declare your responsibility. and bargain in such a way that they still have power over the entire situation. you can claim that you will feed the dog and bathe him and clean out his poop but your parents may be worried that you will only do it for sometime then forget it altogether. how about telling them that if you fail to do those things permanently they have the right to take away your dog from you. and really mean it, of course. :)

dogs are my life! ours (maltipoos!) really make me happy. so it’s worth all this trouble, i’m sure you already know. :)

Reply from grbghp /post/291411-ok-im-gonna-tell-you-a-story-ever-s#reply-5113353 a better approach is to adopt the dog together,
let them come with you to choose the dog,
if everybody in the family loves the dog then everyone would want to takes care of him, it would be a first come first serve thing.

my mom didn’t like dogs and not to say let them in the house.
but she fell in love with our labrador and i wouldn’t be able to beat her in time to feed him if i wanted to.

what i am saying is, if it is their dog, then they will not worry.

hide it in your room until it is discovered lol…

Reply from DoubleMe† /post/291411-ok-im-gonna-tell-you-a-story-ever-s#reply-5113337 See , if you are young, your parents might fear that as you get older you might lose the love for the dog and it would end up for them to take care of.Which is why they might say no right now… Just keep doing it, and maybe after a while they will realise it ,that you really want one , and that you (and not them)will take care of it even as you get older.
