There isn’t anything that you could have done or could have said to help her. You did not reach her too late. The myth is that suicide could have been prevented if only we would have reached out sooner, or recognized their silence… the truth is she was hurting, and she chose to do what she did, and most likely she didn’t want to burden you and have you worry.

She loved you and she couldn’t find a voice. She felt beaten down and broken and she would want you to find happiness and through that show her that life is worth every goodness and joy that can be taken.

I’ll be around tonight, I’ll check in here to see how you are doing! HUGS! You are gonna make it!
