[Help] I'm not who I was supposed to be. Updates to this post /post/291467-im-not-who-i-was-supposed-to Tue, 24 Nov 2009 20:13:21 +0100 Reply from Happybirthday2 /post/291467-im-not-who-i-was-supposed-to#reply-5114362 I’m thinking that it would be very rewarding to you to coach younger kids in sports so you can remember a time it was not about playing to get drafted but playing to have fun and learn to play better. Your life sounds pretty sweet.

Dude, I hear ya. Life is full of disappointments like that. If only life were like a movie, where you have that magical turnaround and montage scene and you accomplish your dream, all the while keeping your family, friends and partner, and have a happy ending where you’re living your dream.
Hm. I unfortunately don’t have an answer for you. You could try to pursue your dream again, I mean you are still young. Unless of course after all the surgery you’ve had and the years you haven’t played have rendered you not as efficiant as you used to be. Why not do something sports related?
Why not become a coach of that sport, or something else related to it? If you can’t be a professional sports player, surround yourself with it anyway. That’s all I can think of for now.
