It’s like having a camera pointed in your face suddenly you are more self-concious. I think a lot of people drink because it allows them to be more open with strangers… but it can be a bad thing too.

The people I hang out with have known each other for a long time (new school) and I can’t connect to what the jokes they know and their past experiences. If you know the stuff they’re talking about, all it takes is the courage to jump in. If you don’t know what they’re talking about, learn.
