[Help] me n my boyfriend were at a party n he had 13 drinks (beer and other stuff he mixed) n ... Updates to this post /post/319268-me-n-my-boyfriend-were-at-a-party-n Thu, 18 Mar 2010 10:52:40 +0100 Reply from JuzMe /post/319268-me-n-my-boyfriend-were-at-a-party-n#reply-5284681 It sounds like he may have mixed alcohol and pills or something to make him flip like that. Do you know if he took a trip ?

Pills and trips effect everyone in different ways. What might be tolerated well by one person, may give the total opposite effect for another, depending on body weight, age, how much alcohol they’ve already consumed and the frame of mind they were in prior to consuming it.

Alcohol is also a depressant, or I guess other wise known as a downer, not an upper like speed etc. Alcohol can make people bad mooded, but generally this happens each time they drink. If this is the first time you’ve noticed this behaviour in him, and it’s not how he normally reacts while drinking, there is a chance he has taken something.

The abuse of alcohol or drugs is not a symptom of youth, it’s a symptom of something much deeper. So, the guy you love is carrying alot of baggage, for him to say he wants to kill himself. If you want to help him carry that baggage that is up to you - get used to getting hit though.

Reply from Richard Cor de Lyon /post/319268-me-n-my-boyfriend-were-at-a-party-n#reply-5284651 You are fooling yourself by saying, “it’s just the alcohol”… it not. My advise is to stay away from this guy. Someone that drinks so very much is trying to “drown” something (clearly from what he was saying), and alcohol does not make someone violent. Alcohol merely makes it easier for a violent person to be violent.
