Viruses cannot effect you if you buy and UPDATE a good antivirus program. I’d also recommend a good anti adware program to go along with it.

I do not recommend the programs from Norton, McAffee, or Microsoft itself (default program that will come preloaded with Vista). There are much better programs available. AVG is quite good and is free, including their updates.

When a new virus is found “in the wild”, all antivirus companies share this information with each other. That way they all stay up to date on what could possibly effect your computing experience.

If it was my money on the line, I’d buy the Sony.
