oops. forgot what post we were on (when you type to music… things just drift away)

Reply from soyinfinita /post/78153-regulars-to-helpcom-when-you-fir#reply-2612030 I’ve been pretty consistent since my summer started except for the last week or so. It’s not that I don’t need help or don’t want to help but sometimes this website just takes so much out of me (time, effort, energy) and sometimes things dissolve into stupid arguments and that just drains me. So I can understand why sometimes people get tired of coming here regularly. I want to keep coming, but I’ve decided I won’t be so overzealous anymore for my own health :)

Reply from Sasquatch /post/78153-regulars-to-helpcom-when-you-fir#reply-2582415 Yeah, that’s true, rook. I still come here every day and read posts, but It’s has become very difficult to actually post any advice when it seems like i’ve seen the same questions over and over a thousand times. I’d like to help out more, but everything just blurs together.

Reply from rookandpawn /post/78153-regulars-to-helpcom-when-you-fir#reply-2578592 sasquatch: have you noticed how the problems start to “bleed” into each other, and soon you see there’s nothing at all unusual about almost everyone’s problems (within a certain range of problems that people can come to the net for advice)

my girlfriend this/boyfriend that/lonely/sad/my parents/etc.. its really hard to start giving personalized advice especially if the poster doesnt really make his problm specific and unique

Reply from Sasquatch /post/78153-regulars-to-helpcom-when-you-fir#reply-2578293 It’s true. Help.com is like an old friend that I’m slowly losing touch with. I just never feel like posting anymore.

Reply from kyndell /post/78153-regulars-to-helpcom-when-you-fir#reply-2577987 I don’t know … I haven’t been here that long, but for me it’s way more interesting to read other people’s posts than to post things myself.
