Reply from Roulston /post/98879-argggghhhhh#reply-3126872 it sounds like it could be that the battery is dead… if you know someone with the same laptop try switching batteries and see what happens, if you still have the problem give more symptoms of the problem.

Also in the Future…
To be able to help you we need to have more detail than “there was an error and now the computer does not start”

with that information there is no way that we can help.
here is a list of information that if you send along then we can help better.
-what operating system(what windows ie: xp, vista, 98, etc.)
-desktop or laptop.
-any error messages exactly as they were displayed.
-any odd noises, or smells that have ocoured since the problem.
-let us know if you have installed any new hardware or software since the problem.

By posting this information the first time round we don’t have to ask and can resolve the issue faster.

Reply from ronrumpf /post/98879-argggghhhhh#reply-3126400 What kind of computer is it? How old is it? Dose the computer show that the battery is charging? It sounds like the battery life is just about gone. If you charge the battery over nite will the computer run with the AC power on?

My friend managed to get it back up and running the way it should be.
then the low battery light came on so i went home to get the charger and by the time i got back the battery had gone. so plugged it in charging light came on but the computer wouldnt switch back on. the computer is now fully charged (Light green)but still will not come on help!
