Full name, Malcolm Christopher Dragon. Born Horfield, Bristol, 15 August 1949. Brown eyes, and originally dark brown hair (now grey!). Height, 5′5″; weight 10st 10lbs (68Kg). Educated to post-degree level. Have worked in a wide variety of occupations, and travelled extensively. Despite my literal age, I’m young at heart, have boundless enthusiasm and see change and modernity as an opportunity and challenge, rather than a threat. I have a stubborn nature - sometimes evidenced by words, sometimes by deeds, but always by attitude - when I feel I am being directed into ways that I do not wish to go. Yet I can be optimistic, supportive and an excellent listener when I choose. I’m currently a civil servant, working very closely to senior Labour politicians, yet I’m so libertarian as to be essentially an anarchist. My religious background is Protestant - indeed, I was recently ordained. However, don’t be fooled… I’m an avid seeker after hidden knowledge and have a tolerance and broad-mindedness that embraces Truth in all its guises, recognising the essential Oneness of all religions. I am a chameleon: put me into any situation or society, and - if it suits me - I will disappear into the background and exist comfortably, as if I belonged there naturally. I am a survivor. The one thing that might mark me out from the crowd is that I’m an almost lifelong vegetarian (not vegan… just no flesh: I do eat eggs and dairy products, so I guess you’d call me an ovo-lacto-vegetarian!) I enjoy comfort, luxury, admiration and power, but I can be at peace with Nature. Just when you thought you knew me, another facet will emerge!
