Thanks for the friending..and the quote. Judging by your tags, here’s a few books you might have already read or enjoy reading: The Celestine Prophecy, The Way of the Peaceful Warrior and Siddhartha. They all are quite “New Age” if you will and can be very cheesy at times, but they have little gems of wisdom.
I’m a serious Christian and student of philosophy (as you seem to be). But, these are fun little diversions. I recommended some Wittgenstein and Camus to our pal Xeno. You’d probably highly enjoy the former’s Philosophical Investigations.
Ha HA!
I’m the first in your shout box! That makes me cool, right?….oh, I guess not.
Anyway, It is so good to see people out there like ourselves. Even better are the people like you, who can put these experiances to words. It seems you and I have much in common, as in this whole enlightning goes. I myself have acheived a worry and depressional freedom about two years ago, amusingly soon after my last break-up with that beautiful girl noone wants to lose. I did, and I am ok with it now. What kind of reading set you on this path? I was introduced to Conversations with God, then broadened my search with Carl C. Jung and Joseph Cambell. Now I am reading some Deepak Chopra. There is a lot out there, and I am interested in it all. I feel, the more I understand in this life, prepares me for the next, if I can remember it all.
Anyway, thanks again for being. I hope to continue learning (re-membering) from folks like you.
