No worries.

That’s something you would need to ask your insurance because it depends on your coverage. If they covered your initial hospital bills, then I would assume that they will cover the follow up unless you’ve given them authorisation to close the file.

2009-09-21 13:42:59 on CAR ACCIDENT…this is wat happened to me,
1) Talk to your insurance company to see if there is any coverage for your injuries even though you’re reporting it late.
2) Go to a doctor and get your back x-rayed. You need to know if there are any breaks or disc slippage that can be endangering your spine. A preliminary exam should cost you maybe $100 without insurance with a regular GP, but if you go to a country or reduced cost clinic you could pay a lot less. Also, most doctor’s offices and hospitals can refer you to whatever state medical assistance you’re eligible to apply for, especially since you’re unemployed.
3) Apply for unemployment. The only way you can know if you can get it is to apply so it doesn’t hurt to fill out a little paperwork, right?
I’ve also been in a car wreck and I had to deal with neck pain for a very long time. Sometimes it still comes back to haunt me. It’s not necessarily a sign of a serious injury, but it can be and should always be checked. Also, if left untreated, many back injuries have a way of worsening so make sure you do whatever you can to get it taken care of immediately.
2009-09-21 13:27:25 on I was feeding what I thought was a homeless cat that was on my porch but I found out it is my neighbors.
Cats are very independent and they choose the people they’d rather be around. Also, yes, they do like to hang around easy food sources. The cat will probably continue to hang around for as long as it lives next door. My boyfriend’s neighbours’ cats come around all the time and we never feed them or even pet them, they just like sitting in his yard for some reason and even meowing at the door as if they think they have a right to come in. The best thing you can do is ignore it.
I would not recommend taking the cat to the humane society unless it’s being abused or neglected. If you were to do so, it would cause a big rift between you and your neighbours if they found out or there’s a good chance the cat would be assumed stolen/lost/dead and they would never know where it went and it could be put down. (The Humane Society actually puts down an estimated 70,000 or so animals every year do to no one claiming them.)
2009-09-21 13:21:49 on Why must gay people refer to their boyfriend/girlfriend, husband/wife as “…my partner” as opposed to the previous?
I’ve actually heard many straight couples refer to their signifant other as “my partner.” I’ve also heard gay people use “my boyfriend” or “my girlfriend.” However, straight women often call their close friends “girlfriends” and they don’t mean partners, so perhaps for gay women in particular they feel that “my partner” offers more clarification.

That’s really sweet, Dolly. Thanks so much. I wish I had some candles here to light, too. I might have to do that when I get back to Oregon.

Then it’s time to create your own vision. Perhaps it time for you to take up a new creative outlet. Get your emotions out on some sort of canvas or paper and use that to force yourself into creating your own future again.
Your life is far from over. Don’t let it slip by.
2009-09-21 12:09:29 on pimple ..
Oh, and when you use toothpaste, use the white stuff, not the gel. The key ingredient is the baking soda.
2009-09-21 12:08:38 on pimple ..
Try putting a dot of toothpaste on it overnight. Toothpaste kind of sucks the infection out and dries out the pimple. It won’t make it look pretty right away, but it can help to get rid of the core problem which is the infection. Then keep your face clean, DON’T clog it back up with makeup, and don’t touch it. Getting things in it or touching it will transfer bacteria back into the sore and it will keep getting infected, bigger, and uglier.
2009-09-21 12:02:14 on how do you get your roommate and your booyfriend to get along?
You don’t. It’s up to them to get along. However, if either of them cares for you, they should be making an effort to get along so as it would make your life easier. If they’re not even trying, then perhaps you should evaluate why neither of them cares enough about you to try to keep the peace in the place you call home.
Or, the reason that they’re not getting alone is because one of them cares about you a lot and the other happens to be very bad for you. The person who cares may be trying to protect you from the other person.
2009-09-21 11:43:00 on Divorce and death of ex-wife.
It is interesting to me that the thing that is bothering you so much is missing out on each others’ dying moments. What about the living ones? Death is but an instant, a transition. It causes grief for the living who remain, but even when it comes those living generally use their grief to remember and cherish the life of the person they have lost. Life is when we have an opportunity to express our love for each other and we never know when that opportunity ends, for it is only a limited time offer.
You said above that she wanted more out of life. I also left my ex-husband because I needed more out of life. Perhaps what she wanted you to learn when the two of you went to counseling and when she expressed to you that she was unhappy was to live this life and experience the journey. After all, we don’t even really know where we end up when it’s all over and whether you die first or she does, that’s the end of it as far as we know. By the time one of you is gone, that person will have left behind worldly joys and sorrows alike, so what’s the point in living for that moment? Live for this one and the next, but not for the last.
2009-09-21 11:32:48 on 8(x+2)=2(4x+1)+14
8(x+2)=2(4x+1)+14
factor it: (8*x)+(8*2)=(2*4x)+(2*1)+14
============8x +16 =8x +2 +14
add like terms:8x+16=8x+(2+14)=8x+16
so what you have then looks like:
8x+16=8x+16
simplify by isolating like terms, subtracting 16 from both sides:
8x+16-16=8x+16-16
8x=8x
hmmmmmmm
Does it look like the value of x is limited to only one number or that it will work for all real numbers from this point? You can probably figure it out.
2009-09-21 11:13:34 on Why would a guy try so hard in the beginning and sweep you off your feet and then back off a year later…seem to change?
People only change in the beggining, their true self comes out over time. Sometimes it takes a year and other times it may take many years. The other varibles that can help you see ones true personality is; how they deal with stress, or how they deal with your relationship with other people. You need to be looking at their insecurities because they only seem to magnify as the relationship goes on. Good Luck.
This is the right answer. Think about it. You’ve probably “changed” too, only you didn’t change into someone new, you changed back closer to your old self. It means that the two of you are now close enough to share your true selves, and congratulations on that. You should be thankful that you get to know him for who he really is and that you have someone who you can show your true colours, nice or not, to.
2009-09-17 03:09:03 on tattoo removal?
I haven’t had any first hand experience but I did watch a television special about gang tattoo removal once. lol. They did show that it took several painful sessions for each tattoo and that it did leave a scar that very closely resembled the shape of the tattoo because they don’t want to laser anything that’s not inked and cause extra pain and damage.
Have you considered having it covered instead? Finding a good artist and investing some money could be worth it if you’d rather have something else.
