  But simple things that are moral, like you said, make sense yes. Theres a good reason for those. But just to ‘make our school look good’ isnt a good reason.

  Yes, I agree that we shouldnt have our hair blue. When I got my hair highlighted red, I wasnt trying to be all ‘oh yea im cool cause im different’. It really did look halfway normal. It wasnt a distraction or anything. But they still flipped about it. And having torn jeans yea I can understand that. But like, I was in gym one day and fell and got a hole in the knees of my jeans. They put me in detention. (This was after the hair incident, so it was a ’second infraction’).

  Children need discipline and guidance yes. But telling you what colour your hair can be isnt either. It’s just basically saying that we have no control over how we’re allowed to look and that our school tells us what we can and cant wear. The school basically runs the lives of the students there. Sorry, I thought that a school was a place to learn? Not a second parent…

  I would go along with that because that would make sense. that is a business that needs to look their best. And, you’d be going in knowing that rule. Our school didnt tell my mum and dad that they were going to have the rules of a private school, or they wouldnt of sent me there.
