  Hi,
  The Secret is at www.thesecret.tv.com. It’s been on Larry King live, Ophra, and other shows. Rhonda Byrne realized that throughout time, all the Master teachers achieved their goals by following certain principles. It was kept a secret, however. She decided to share her findings so many people could benefit. She made a film interviewing many top leaders in a variety of fields. Through them, she shows viewers that achieving any goal is simply basic quantum physics. Practicing this secret help anyone achieve whatever they want…good health, wealth, relationships, etc. It’s not luck. It’s really a science. Anyway, I purchased the CD and I listen to it nightly and when I’m driving. I’ve seen some remarkable things happen in a very short time, especially in regards to loved ones. Now I’m working on “wealth” issues. I purchased The Secret at Barnes and Nobel. I like the CD better than the book or DVD. It was also available at Target. And you can always get it at Amazon.com. I can’t imagine how wonderful it would have made my life to know these principles in my 20’s!

  Sounds like things are pretty rough right now. I’ve been in the same situation your parents have been in. Money problems scare parents terribly. With the economy today and rising costs, it’s even scarier than it used to be. There are only two emotions…love and fear. Guess which one they are feeling? Try to remember that they love you and absolutely want the best for you and your brother. They aren’t trying to destroy all that they’ve worked for to have a good home for you. They want you to be happy. However, unhappy people have a hard time making good choices. Stress causes confusion. What can you do to help? Just accept them. Know that things will get better. Try to be a calming spirit as much as possible. It’s hard, but it’s a skill that will help you with friends, in jobs and when you are a parent. It’s very hard for anyone to stay aggitated and upset when they are around someone who is very calm, loving, and accepting. Hang in there. It will get better.

  Yes, Mandatory Overtime is legal here in Florida. Can’t believe that someone can be forced to work every day of the month in this heat with no days off with NO EXCEPTIONS. Time and half isn’t worth it. Time and half isn’t worth the physical toll, much less cherished moments needed before a son leaves for many, many months.

  Thanks for the replies. Hubby HAS looked for better jobs. He has extensive background of skills, steady work history, and a college degree. Unfortunately, even an entry-level job with barely above-minimum wage plus medical benefits are to find. Medical benefits are biggest worry. One major illness or accident can result in bankruptsy or homelessness. We can’t move because elder parents need our care. We also have a special needs child who can’t disrupt services. We can’t complain to any Federal agency because WDW does retaliate. Ask anyone who has worked there. Disney is the biggest employer in Florida. No politicians would investigate Disney employment practices. Only negative publicity can influence managers at Disney. After all, they don’t want to lose their jobs either. Many people have computer skills. Perhaps someone can make an E-Ad Campaign on You Tube to help a sad Mouse Worker who couldn’t have even one day to be with his only son before he left for Iraq. Many other Disney employees would appreciate the too. Please forward this Help.com message to the Internet Universe. Workforces everywhere may respond by letting WDW know that their family values the families working for Disney. Thanks.

  Thanks for your response to my post. As for your bird, if you are in the Orlando area, there is a Bird Lady who takes care of all injured wild birds. The first thing she would do is give it a dropper of a dilluted Electrolyte drink. The Bird Lady lives on Robin Way (really, that’s the street name) in Cassleberry. Not sure how to find her but she is definitely the person to call.
