Mini-Profile

I am 49 yrs. old and i grew up in Torrington, Connecticut. I also lived in Winchester, Virginia for 12 yrs. In 2003 i met my norwegian sweetheart on the internet. In 2004 i moved to Norway (the land of the midnight sun) to marry her. We were wed July 9th 2004. She is a godly woman and i am blessed beyond measure to have her in my life. The relationship we have with Jesus Christ is the tie that binds our hearts and keeps us together and keeps us committed to one another. Yes, we have problems and misunderstandings because our backgrounds and cultures as she is norwegian and i am american. But there is nothing that is too difficult or problematic that i can’t say, i’m sorry or that she can’t say that she’s sorry; And we forgive one another! I am convinced that some divorces happen not because they can’t be worked out, but because one or the other have too much pride to admit that they made a mistake and sometimes there is no room for forgivness. Yes, at times there are extenuating circumstances. But forgiveness is the key in any relationship. There is also something to be said about being able to compromise. I play harmonica at the church my wife and i go to. The church we go to is a Vineyard church.
