A solution to Global warming? posted (1 year, 5 months) ago
Would a nuclear winter reverse the effects of Co2 withholding the suns energy by reflecting it with…
Pollen skins the water along its serrated shores, as silhouettes of trees in the distance contrast their blue backdrop. The reeds speak their secrets into the wind in response to the song of a lone bird searching for a companion. A warm breeze transforms the liquid mirror into a barrage of broken reflections. The sparkles splash off the water creating a mosaic of light on the underside of the leaves.
Just below these branches stands Roland Nedion, resting with his calloused left hand against the bark of the tree. His thoughts are mixed, surveying flesh and a slaughter unfold, yet distracted by the beauty of the stage the battle performs upon. Floating into his attention is a browned leaf dancing with the wind. With the area of his focus as their ballroom they sway and rotate together, descending ever closer to the surface of the water. The leaf lands with grace and a ring of waves form around it. As it rotates a stream of water floods its ridges. Water battles its crimson twin for dominance of the pool forming at the center of the leaf. The blood curls and coils like a heavy smoke slowly effusing itself into the air. Instantaneously the tornado of liquid becomes relative as the leaf sinks below the surface and casts itself into the shadow of the lake.
As the leaf slips away and the sound of war echoes him back to his senses, Roland reacquaints himself with the battlefield by a bellowing of orders. Scratched from the surface of his vocal chords he speaks,
“We’re doing exceptionally well in the water! Inform Mr. Short of our impending victory, I believe he will be pleased that his ships haven’t taken on much water, and his industry will stay afloat. Also be sure to let him know his investment as a business man and a friend will garner great rewards.”
Uhh, kinda hard to explain lol…which is why I would need a story to explain it all. I made the change you suggested, thank you. Maybe I’ll post more as it comes. - written 4 weeks ago
Well is that not what all religions are? Passageways to a better afterlife? The charades already exist as every religion. - written 5 months, 1 week ago
